I really enjoy this film about three escapees from Devil'd Island who try to bring Christmas in a special way to a family (I won't give away the ending). This film, unfortunately is not part of IA film library. I hope it will be soon. Question: Last year, you had Alastair
Sims interp of Scrooge on IA but no longer, what happened?

No, I think that would be a bad idea. I have trouble believing a 2007 release is public domain. :) Which is why I can't take up "We're no Angels" either, Edsel. But for what it's worth, I loved that one, too.

Rq52, the Sim version of Scrooge was removed for copyright issues, IIRC. But the 1935 version is in the Archive, and it's a lot better, to my mind. The acting is a little dated (it wasn't all that far into the talkie era), but it's a lot truer to the book than any other remake I've seen.
